Trudy Darlene Ropon, 64, of Vienna, IL, passed away at 7:26 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL. Trudy was born on August 30, 1946 in Eustus, FL the daughter of the late Truman and Virginia (Hickox) Driggers. Trudy was a homemaker and she enjoyed cooking and learning new recipes. She loved to garden and was especially fond of quilting. Spending time with her family was important to Trudy. Ms. Ropon is survived by two sons, Edward Richardson and his life partner Dan Corbin of Greeley, CO, Frank and his wife Heather Richardson of Marion, MS, and a daughter, Dessa and her husband Dale Chester of Vienna, IL. A sister, Jeanette and her husband Ronald Dixon of Salina, KS and a brother, Benjamin and his wife Dottie Driggers of Jacksonville, FL, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Truman Richardson and by a sister, Carletta Driggers. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna, IL. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.

Howard Carson "H.C." Ridenour, age 85 of Norris, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
OBITUARY:
Howard Carson (H.C.) Ridenour, age 85, of Norris, passed away peacefully Friday, February 22, 2019 Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was a member of Greenway Baptist Church in Clinton and enjoyed attending as long as his health permitted. He loved the Lord and didn't care to witness to those he came in contact with. He retired from Martin Marietta Y-12 Nuclear Plant in 1995. Prior to his employment at Y-12 he had worked for Volunteer Construction Company. H.C. enjoyed traveling, working jigsaw puzzles, playing music and watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke which was his favorite. He had been a devoted husband and caregiver to both his wives who predeceased him. He loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them. Preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Ridenour and second wife, Dorothy Ridenour; parents, James Douglas & Amanda Jane Graves Ridenour; several siblings and one step-grandson, Christopher Gee.
