Jim Edwards, 69, Cadiz, died at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at University of Louisville Hospital following a brief illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at East Cadiz Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Johnson, Jamus Edwards, Russ Stallons and Lester Watson officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today at King's Funeral Home, Cadiz, and form 10 a.m. until time for the service Saturday at the church.
A native of Piney Point, Md., he was born Aug. 11, 1945, the son of the late James Howell and Sylvia Carter Edwards.
He was a former educator and administrator at Trigg County High School, Livingston Central High School and Trigg County Middle School. He was a former salesman for Blitz Builders and was a member of East Cadiz Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Jean Stallons Edwards; his son, Jamus (Annie) Edwards, Owensboro; three daughters, Mrs. Jimmy (Andrea) McAtee, Mrs. Matt (Amanda) Sholar and Mrs. John (Christy) Oliphant, all of Cadiz; his twin brother, Bob (Sylvia) Edwards, Bushnell, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to East Cadiz Baptist Church's organ fund, In care of Pam Alexander, 172 Allen Circle, Cadiz, KY 42211.

Bernard Frank Pietrzykowski Jr., age 70, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Bernard was born July 13, 1951.
Preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Jean Pietrzykowski; Survived by loving wife, Beverly Pietrzykowski; daughters, Jennifer (Rodney) Lambert, Kathryn (Patrick) Henderson; grandchildren, Ryleigh Jo, Stryker, Timber and a host of family and friends.
Skinner was an avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time on the water in fishing tournaments and loved being with nature traveling to different regions hunting. Bernard also loved NASCAR and was a true Earnhardt fan. Skinner was the owner of Craftsman Builders Inc.
Bernard was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend, His laughter and wisdom will be cherished in his family's memories and hearts. He will truly be missed by all.

RAUHUFF, MARGIE A RISEDEN age 71, of Powell, passed away Monday, November 30, 2009, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ida Riseden; brothers, Elmer, Eugene and Earl Riseden; sisters, Ruby Posey, Geraldine Stinnett, Maxine Baird, Glines Ward, Opal Smith, Thelma Rauhuff; grandson, Timothy Rauhuff. Survived by her husband, Walter Fred Rauhuff, Sr.; children, Judy (Mike) Livingston, Walter Fred, Jr. (Felicia), Timothy (Claudia), Debbie (Leonard) King, Steve (Tina), Andy (Laura), Joe (Cindy), Regina (David) Woods; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three special nieces, Carol Coward, Wanda Newell, Wilma Stearns; sister-in-law, Theda Riseden; brother-in-law, Audrey Smith; numerous nieces and nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 2, 2009, between 6-8 pm with a funeral service following at 8pm in the Woodhaven Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jr. Elliott and Rev. Edward was the first born of Fredrick and Caty Walrath. His family came to Sparta, WI in 1852 and were among the first settlers of that town. He married Sarah Ann Blake, daughter of Charles Hilton Blake and Laura Ann Kimball on April 11, 1855. That marriage was the first marriage in Monroe County. Ed and Sarah had four children, Charles (1856-1857); Ada Laura (1860-1861, Alvin (March 18, 1864-November 3, 1920) and Mary Bell (October 6, 1869-April 23, 1919). Charles and Ada are buried in this cemetery.
Ed became the first sheriff in Sparta and the family remained there until 1874 when they moved to Chippewa Falls. He worked in life insurance, real estate and the fur business, and was listed as a speculator in the 1880 Chippewa Falls census.
Alfred Edward Walrath died of Bright's disease at the age of 61. There is no marker on his grave.
