Wesley J. Cowart, 76, died Wednesday.
He was a cattleman and a member of the Methodist Church in Seville. He was a former member of Cattlemen's Association of Flagler County and the Farm Bureau of Putnam County.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cowart of Seville; one son, Johnny Cowart of DeLand; one daughter, Marlene Boyle of DeLand; two brothers, Victor Cowart and C. H. Cowart, both of Bunnell; two sisters, Juanita Nolan of Seville and Catherine Johnson of Pomona Park; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in DeLand with the Rev. R. Kenneth Gaskin officiating. Burial will be in Seville Cemetery.
