Gynetha Miles Justice, 81, of Waycross died Saturday evening at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Appling County to the late Valeria Miles and Clyo Harrison Miles. Mrs. Justice had made Waycross her home for most of her life. She was a housewife and a member of Hebardville Baptist Church. She loved to travel, read, and volunteered as a precinct worker for Ware County on Election Day. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Miles.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Robert W. Justice of Waycross, three children, Dianne Strader and her husband Roger of Waynesboro, Virginia, Bobby Justice and his wife Carolyn of Kingsland, Georgia, James Justice and his wife Lisa of Waycross, eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, a sister, Loretta Stone of Waynesville, Georgia and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
