BRADLEY N. BIBB OF LSTONE DIES
Bradley N. Bibb, 90, great grandson of the late Gov. Thomas Bibb of Alabama and one of the oldest settlers of Limestone County, died Thursday at 6 p.m. at Baugh-Wiley Clinic where he had been a patient for three weeks.
Mr. Bibb was born in Demopolis in 1865 and came to Belle Mina at the age of one year. He was the son of Porter Bibb and Amelia Bradley Bibb and until about 15 years ago resided at Belle Mina Hall, home of Gov. Bibb.
He married Miss Josephine Ashford, Courtland, in 1897 and to this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Bibb Bailey, Miss Mary Augusta Bibb, Decatur, and one son, Robert C. Bibb, Belle Mina.
Mr. Bibb was a lifelong member of the Belle Mina Methodist Church where funeral services are to be Saturday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. R. A. Jones, the Rev. T.J. Chitwood and Bishop Clare Purcell officiating.
Deceased had been in the farming business all of his life and was active in the affairs of Limestone County schools, having served as a trustee at Belle Mina.
In addition to his children, he is survived by one brother, B.A. Bibb, Belle Mina; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Body is to remain at Brown Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Saturday. At that time it will be taken to the residence in Belle Mina. Tomorrow afternoon the body is to lie in state at the church from 2 until time for the service.
Interment is to be in Decatur City Cemetery, Brown directing. Pallbearers will be S.W. Kay, Fred Inglis, Nelson Swinnea, Joe Worthy, John Robinson, L.M. Huff and Cecil Timberlake.

Mary Deen has a CSA pension application on line in the Georgia Virtual vault. She gives her date of birth as Nov. 6, 1838 and says she was married to Samuel Deen who served in Co. F. of the 47th Ga regiment. He lost his life July 9, 1864 at the Battle on Johns Island, S. C.
