John Allen Tatem
Mr. John A. Tatem age 85, a contractor with Duval County School Board passed away Saturday November 26, 2011 in Monticello.
Mr. Tatem was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a resident of Jacksonville, FL. until 1995, then moving to Monticello, FL. He retired from the Duval School Board systems were he worked as a contractor installing flag poles. Mr. Tatem was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy. He was a member of Lloyd Baptist Church, he also attended Souls Port United Pentecostal Church in Tallahassee, FL. Mr. Tatem was a member of the VFW as well as the American Legion Post 49.
Mr. Tatem is survived by his wife of 7 years Mrs. Margaret Tatem, three sons John Tatem Jr. (Ann) Hilliard, FL., Major Timothy Tatem (Cimma) Washington, D.C. , William Sever (Cindy) Twining, MI.
