Donald was born in Appling County, Georgia to the late Walter Joseph Peacock and Ethel Elizabeth Kicklighter on June 24, 1936. He has been a resident of Baker County for the last two years after moving from Clay County. He honorably served in the US Marines during the Korean War and was a car salesman for 35 years in North East Florida. Donald enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

S. Paratrooper and Sergeant. He was involved in military battles in North Africa, Sicily, Normandy, Holland, and He was a member of the Honor Guard in Berlin at the end of the war. He was a member of the Buford American Legion Post 127. He was retired owner of Airborne Roofing and Siding and Whitford Feed and Milling Service in Franklin Grove, Illinois and Whitford Construction Company in Florida and Atlanta, Georgia. He was a member of the Epiphany Lutheran Church in Suwanee, GA.
