Mrs. Janice Cribb Linger, 69, was found Saturday morning (March 29, 2014) at her residence.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross. She was a former employee of Waycross Sportswear and a private sitter. She is the daughter of the late Marvin Cribb and Vernell Strickland Cribb.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Lee Kirkendall. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Sweat of Waycross; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, Edward Cribb of Waycross; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

1770, Lieut. Jacob Wannamaker, born 1750, died 1795, son of Jacob Wannamaker,
who came from the Palatinate, the Rhineland of Germany, in 1738,and married (1740)
Ann Catherine Shuler. Jacob Wannamaker was the celebrated Lieutenant in Captain
Jacob Rumphs Militia Company. He was the second ofiicer and Lewis Golson was
third officer in command.
