Attrorney C R Summerfield received a telegram announcing the death of his grandmother, Mrs Elizabeth Ellison, at the home of her son, Dr M A Ellison, at Beckley, Tuesday morning. Deceased was 97 years old. Five children survive her: Dr Ellison, of Beckley; Wm Ellison, of Alderson; Mrs E A H Summerfield, of Gatewood; Mrs Lou Norton, of Belvia and Mrs Adeline Corus of Mercer county. Matthew Ellison, husband of the deceased, died in 1889. The funeral was held at the Baptist Church, Beckley, Thursday. - Fayette Jorunal
