Bert Lee Daulton, 57, Route 1, Nancy, died Tuesday at Somerset City Hospital following an illness of 15 years.
He was born at Naomi, Ky., on February 20, 1915, the son of Carl and Oma Tarter Daulton. The father survives.
He married the former Roseanna Daws on December 19, 1935, and she survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Winford V. Daulton of Fairmount, Ind., and Roy Lee Daulton of Ypsilanti, Mich.; seven daughters, Roselene Malone of Ypsilanti, Mich., Lois Baize of Crownpoint, Ind., Clarene Tarter of Nancy, Betty Evans and Mrs. Dean Henderson, both of Science Hill, Dianne Nevels of Groton, Conn., and Barbara Daulton of Nancy; four brothers, Barett Daulton, Ceburn Daulton and Woodrow Daulton, all three of Sidney, Ohio, and Delno Daulton of Fairmount, Ind.; eight sisters, Elta Ledford, Dorothy Ward, Jean Slusser, Edith Young, Audrey Thompson and Sylvia S. Elmore, all six of Sidney, Ohio, Elvaree Burton of Springfield, Colo., and Delphia Vaughn of Nancy; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was a farmer and a member of the Naomi Nazarene Church.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Naomi Nazarene Church with Rev. Oscar Lobb officiating.
Burial will be in the Norfleet Cemetery.

J. Merrell Miles - BAXLEY - J. Merrell Miles, 73, of Baxley died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
Mr. Miles was born July 1, 1940, in Appling County. He was the son of the late Willis Frank Miles and Bertha Lillian Beckworth Miles.
Mr. Miles was the owner of J M Miles Construction and was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church where he was an active member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Mr. Miles was a member of the Exchange Club, Gideons International and Young Farmers Appling Chapter. He served in the Air National Guard. Mr. Miles worked hard his whole life to provided for his family. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren and left them a love filled Christian heritage.
Mr. Miles was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Earl Miles, Dale Miles and a sister, Karlene Sellers.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Faye Miles of Baxley; one daughter, Redonnia Miles Jackson of Brunswick; one son, Keith Merrell Miles of Baxley; one sister, Treva Mullins of Decatur; one brother, Jewell W. Miles of Hazlehurst, 3 grandchildren, 20 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday at Swain Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Red Oak Baptist Church. Mr. Miles will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
